Rebecca Lunstroth is an Assistant Professor in Family Medicine and the Associate Director of the McGovern Center where she runs the day-to-day affairs of the Center. She directs the Ethics and Professionalism longitudinal theme, the GSBS Ethics of Biomedical Sciences course, and the MSIV Jurisprudence course. Ms. Lunstroth is Chair of one of UTHealth’s IRBs and explores a number of issues facing research, particularly privacy concerns.Ms. Lunstroth frequently lectures on the United States health care system, justice, and the legal and ethical issues in health care. Her research interests span from reproductive health to the rightful place of personal responsibility in medicine.
