Terri is the Chair of the Exercise and Sport Science Department at St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, TX. She teaches Holistic Wellness, Ethics in Sport, Living Yoga (academic class) and Yoga for All (activity class). Study and work done in Embodied Spirituality have shaped and informed all the teaching that Terri does in her courses at St. Mary’s as well as presentations she has made at local and national conferences.
In addition to teaching at St. Mary’s, Terri is also affiliated with Nydia Tijerina Darby’s yoga studio in San Antonio---Nydia’sYogaTherapy. Nydia and Terri have worked on research projects with UTHealth in San Antonio looking at the impact of Yoga on breast cancer survivors.
